Cooper Square, Seven Mills, Clonburris, Dublin 22

Cooper Square (Seven Mills), Clonburris is a large-scale mixed-use residential development located within the Clonburris Strategic Development Zone, delivered in partnership with Cairn Homes as part of the Land Development Agency’s Cost Rental and Homebuilder Partnership programmes. The scheme comprises 594 apartments across seven residential blocks, together with an office building, retail units, a crèche and a new urban square, forming a key component of this emerging transit-oriented community.

Barrett Mahony Consulting Engineers provided full civil and structural engineering services from planning compliance through to detailed design, construction and phased handover. The project incorporates a highly efficient reinforced concrete structural solution, extensive sustainable urban drainage systems and supporting infrastructure, and is being delivered to the Passivhaus (Passive House) standard, aligning with the LDA’s sustainability and whole-life value objectives. Construction is ongoing, with phased BCAR certification and handover progressing ahead of final completion in 2026.
