Project Update - UCD Student Residences Masterplan

We are delighted to see the next phase of the UCD Student Residences Masterplan progress to construction stage, with John Sisk & Son Ltd now appointed as Main Contractor. Barrett Mahony Consulting Engineers have been involved as Civil and Structural Engineering Consultants for the masterplan since 2015 and the commencement of Phase 2 marks another great milestone in the overall project.

The UCD Student Residences Masterplan designed by Reddy Architecture + Urbanism, will ultimately deliver almost 2,200 new student residential units on campus.

This next phase comprises 478 student bedrooms in one new block over a single level basement car park providing 170 car parking spaces.

With the commencement of this next phase of the project we’ve taken the opportunity to look back and showcase completed images of Phase 1 of the masterplan (completed in 2021), which delivered 924 new student bedspaces alongside the award-winning Student Hub (UCD Village) Building.
