Planning Granted - Smyth's Bridge House , Donabate

Barrett Mahony Consulting Engineers are pleased to see a recent grant of permission by Fingal County Council to Cairn Homes for their Smyth’s Bridge House project in Donabate, for which BMCE are acting as Civil and Structural Engineering Consultants.

The works will involve the careful restoration of Smyth’s Bridge House (a Protected Structure), including the refurbishment and re-use of the former Coach House & Barn. Works also include a new high-quality civic space, village garden, shared active travel route and public realm works, with the development serving as a critical link between new residential developments to the south, and Donabate Town Centre and Train Station to the north.
